Country Gate Players is a non-profit community theater in Belvidere, New Jersey. Since 1972 CGP has presented quality, local theatrical productions for the community, while providing stage opportunities for area performers. See a show at the playhouse to enjoy a fun local activity.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (play)

Welcome to the quiet little village of Sleepy Hollow... where old legends have a way of coming to life. When the superstitious school master, Ichabod Crane, arrives in Sleepy Hollow, he quickly becomes fascinated by the beautiful Katrina Van Tassel - and finds himself in competition with the boisterous Brom Bones. But romance and rivalry soon give way to something far more sinister as Ichabod encounters the terrifying legend that has haunted the valley for generations... The Headless Horseman.
